The Rape Crisis Center's Campus Office provides services to students at all Madison college campuses and other Dane County residents. We also provide outreach and community education to campus dorms, organizations, and classes. Please call us for more information.

Will visiting the campus office of the Rape Crisis Center ever show up on my permanent campus record? No. The campus office is a satellite office of the Rape Crisis Center. While we work collaboratively with them, we are not officially affiliated with the University. Your visits and contact with the Rape Crisis Center are confidential. We will never share information with the university about your case unless you request it and we receive written permission from you.
I'm a college student. Where do I file a police report? If the assault perpetrated against you took place on UW campus property, you should make your report to campus police at 262-2957. If the crime occurred on the property of Edgewood College or MATC, or within the city of Madison, but off UW campus property, make your report to City of Madison Police at 255-2345. In an emergency, always call 911.
